In the newest episode of the POCUS Journal podcast, Dr. Johri and Dr. Galen bring on Dr. Robert Jones and medical student Emily Hoffberg of Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. In this podcast, Dr. Jones and Emily discuss their article entitled “The PEGASUS Games: Physical Exam, Gross Anatomy, phySiology and UltraSound Games for Preclinical Medical Education”. This article examines the effectiveness of adding “gamification” to medical school curricula as a novel way to educate medical students in ultrasonography. Their work was included in the latest issue of the POCUS Journal, published in April 2021.
